The crew at the zoo
Our only close encounter came with this cute gal, those fuzzy camels and her big pink hair flower clip. Gretchy loves to feed these big drooling things EVERY time we go and begs to ride them-join the circus! This time after feeding, she decided to give that camel a BIG old Gretchy hug.....a tiny mistake. She turned for a "picture", cause the girl also loves the camera, and Mr. Camel tried to take a big old nibble off her flower, hair, cheek. UhOh! Luckily she was not hurt and was giggling the whole time. I wonder if she'll feed them next time....or hug them!?

Dallin got a kick out of this sign. We wouldn't want to make the animals sick from eating US. That'd be just plain rude of us!

P-Man chilling with Mr. Billy Goat GruffWe spent the day at one of our fav hangouts while Dad was working in K-town for the day. It was the perfect day for a zoo safari: sunny skies, not to warm, and not very crowded.....just the way I like it! They have a new Kid Exploring part with places to be a ticket taker, zoo vet, animal trainer, etc. Of course, the boys were too cool to play in make believe zoo land but Gretchy was all over it. We pretty much had to drag her out of there. The zoo has some great animals: elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, even a white tiger, plus all of your birds, meerkats, rhinos, etc....All of our fav animals and then some, just like a zoo safari. Our only close encounter came with the camels- crazy drooly furballs! Gretchen loves to feed them, and can ride them. She loves the wild things....2 peas in a pod!

I remember that sign at the zoo! Pretty funny! The kids are really growing up.
While the boys are away, I was tempted to have a girls day out at the zoo... that is until this heat wave struck!!! You guys went at the perfect time. Great photos!
