These are a few of our favorite things...
1) seeing the fall leaves on our curvy mountain roads
Since the leaves have been changing, Richard can hardly wait to take us for a ride on the Dragon's Tail. We went a for a couple of rides down the super curvy road, checking out Chilhowee Dam/Lake, several overlooks of the valley, and a ton of motorcycles speeding through the turns. Richard got his photo taken by a few of the photographers that are out there, so now he has a photo of his car riding on his favorite road at his favorite time of year.
2)TWINS!! We went back to NC for Thanksgiving, and got to spend time with some of our favorite twins, Owen and Elijah. Dallin and Parker love to wrestle with the boys, and get them all worked up. Gretchen loves them when they are snuggly, and squeals when they are chasing her. They love to tease her, just like she loves to tease her brothers. We took them to the movies, and uncle Richard filled them up with treats. :)
3) New baby cousins :) We were so excited that Aunt Dare went in to labor on Thanksgiving, so we could spend time with baby Hudson. Aunt Dare is such a supermom, and Hudson is practically perfect in every way. Both mom and baby are healthy, and doing great. We love their family!!!
4) CHRISTMAS SEASON HO HO HO! We have been busily setting up our outside decorations & lights, and our christmas tree & nativity sets, and assorted nutcrackers. Parker has been the most excited about the season, we can hardly contain him. He has been boucing around talking about decorating the tree, making ornaments, makine gingerbread houses, and visiting our family. We went to Dollywood last night to see the millions of lights that they put up, watched a cute play about the nativity, O Holy Night, checked out Tinker the talking tree and sang some carols with her, and saw the big christmas show Babes in Toyland, which is our favorite. We ate at our favorite holiday spot, Aunt Granny's. YUM!
I am sure we are on to more fun for the season!
