Happy Easter, Happy Family, Happy Us!
We went to Raleigh for Easter weekend to do a little egg hunting with the twins, and to suprise Richard's mom for her birthday. Papa and Grammer set up a little egg hunt with a "golden egg" for each child. If us parents had been smarter we would have pocketed the "golden eggs" before the little ones could hunt since they had moolah! The Easter Bunny managed to find us, and brought our kids some treats. Richard, his Dad and brother worked very hard for 3 men trying to surprise their Mom for her birthday with breakfast. So, we all had yummy food, and got to visit with the "birthday girl" for Easter, too.

A couple of weekends later, we had planned on helping Papa and Grammer watch my cute little nieces while Shalene had a college reunion, and much to our surprise Dale was able to make it, so the whole gang was there, NY, NC and TN crowd. We cruised downtown Boone, bought WAY TOO MUCH CANDY at the Mast General Store, had lunch at one of our fav. stops Macado's, played putt putt (with my 3 crazy kids, twin toddling wild nephews, a cute curlie headed niece, and one sweetheart sleepy niece), saw Aunt Shalene sing beautifully as always, ate one YUMMY breakfast-in shifts!!- at the Daniel Boone Inn, and went gem mining. WOOOOOOOOOOO! What a blast!

As always, we stay busy, and have tons more pictures to post-Ecolab outing, birthdays,dance recital, canoeing with friends, preschool graduation, field days-So stay tuned....
