Off we go, into the horizon..
Oaky, maybe not the horizon, but at least a couple of hours from the dock. On our last visit to Raleigh, our boys were determined to go out on the sailboat. They LOVE it, and tell their friends about sailing with Papa, and Grammer. We had been in town before that, and did not get to go (not windy enough). The boys were so eager to go out this visit, that they even suggested using their breath to blow at the sails. They are full of hot air,but nice try boys! So we headed down to Bath, with our swimsuits, lunch, and smiling faces. It was a beautiful day, not too hot, not too windy (really windy is just as bad as not so windy) , and we had a very fun and relaxing day. Richard, Dallin and Parker wanted to jump in and swim, so after Papa took us on a little "SPIN" around the sound, they jumped in. And,the boys are already planning their next trip on the boat. They are little skippers in the making.

Papa misses his little sailing crew and the older crew as well. I'm glad the kids enjoy sailing. As they say, gas to drive to the boat $40, picnic lunch for the boat $30, sailing with the kids and grandkids, priceless! When can the crew join us again? Hope they continue to be interested as they get older. We didn't get to go this weekend, beautiful weather but NO wind! Had our sailing adventure with the tall ships on the 3rd.
