LIONS, & TIGERS & BEARS.....OH,MY!
On one of the warm winter Saturdays, we decided to check out the zoo here in K-ville. It was 1/2 off through the winter, which made it an even better visit. (Got to love a discount) The zoo was fun, and the animals were pretty cool. They even had a trainer working with the elephants, so we got to see it do tricks. They actually have an overweight elephant that has to walk on a treadmill. Go figure, a girl just can not get a break with her weight, not even the elephants. The kids favorite parts were these plastic molding machines in each area. You put a dollar in the machine, it would close the metal mold, pour hot plastic into it, and squeeze it to death. A few seconds later out slides your plastic giraffe, or black bear, or gorilla. It was pretty cool, actually they came out pretty hot. We would love to take any visitors, anytime.
