HAPPY LABOR DAY!!!
So I am just a little behind with my posting. You should see my scrapbooks. Pitiful! For Labor Day, we met our friends the Christians (a new couple in our neighborhood), the Hardings (new family down the street), the Stevensons, and the Morgeneggs at our favorite park, The Cove at Concord Marina. You can play on the playground (did it), play volleyball, (watched it), grill out (ate it), swim (swam it), build sandcastles at the beach area (built and smashed it), and enjoy the boats of all kinds. We had a blast, ate some yummy food, even homemade icecream, YUM! The night before we watched the fireworks at BOOMSDAY! with the Christians. The launch them off the Gay street bridge over the Teneesee River, of course playing Rocky Top and patriotic songs too. It was almost an hour long. They say it is the biggest firework show on the East Coast, and I believe it. It was AWESOME!
